FAQ -
Minimize Slouching

I find myself wanting to slouch as the day goes on. What can I do to minimize this effect?

• Make sure that the materials you are working on, or your computer keyboard is pulled close to the front of your body so you do not have to reach forward at all to put your hands on your work or on the computer keys.

• Get up and take a brief stretching break to change habitual stress patterns in the muscles.

• Practice some slow shoulder circles.

• Drink some water.

• Stretch your head and neck back toward the back of your chair to lengthen the muscles at the front of your neck.
