I do not work in a job that requires repetitive movements, but I have developed the pain of a repetitive strain injury anyway. What gives? -We all have a history of the bangs and dings, accidents and surgeries we have suffered throughout our lives and the effects of all these various trauma are recorded in the fascia of our bodies. When you use your body in a way that puts stress through traumatized fascia, then strain occurs.
