Choosing the best Self Care Program for your needs might seem like a difficult task, but it needn't be. I will try to break it down so you can make a good choice for yourself.

For our purposes here, you will choose a Self Care Program based on whether or not you have nerve related symptoms. Why? Nerves can be damaged by constant stress, so it is important to help them heal first.

If you do not experience nerve related symptoms, then I am asking you to choose a program from a list that I call "Muscle Related". Your particular symptoms may not feel muscle related. That's OK. "Muscle Related" is just a label I chose for a group of programs that do not focus on nerves. You will still find a program that works for you in this list.

Many people have lots of symptoms that could be characteristic of several different repetitive strain injuries. For that reason, we will not be choosing a Self Care Program based on a diagnosis, or a test result. Instead, I would like you to choose the correct program by paying attention to how your body FEELS, right now.

So, let's get on with it. If you experience numbness or tingling in any part of your upper body, whether or not you feel it is related to your injury, go to:

If your symptoms do not include any numbness or tingling in any part of your upper body, then go to:

Be sure to choose only one program at a time, based on your best assessment of where you stand today with your symptoms. If you find that you still have symptoms of a specific repetitive strain injury once you have fully completed your first Self Care Program, then come back and choose another program, based on your remaining symptoms.

In my experience, choosing a second program to fully meet your needs is seldom necessary. Each program is so comprehensive, that virtually any choice you make will meet most or all of your needs very well. Relax. Make your choice, and get on with the task of recovery.
