Why Self Care?

Self care is a process of contributing to your own recovery by following common sense, gentle techniques to restore your injured tissues back to normal condition and function. When you become an active participant in your own recovery, new levels of healing can occur. Results are achieved faster and are more long lasting.

The recommendations found in this website can sometimes conflict with other recovery programs you might be involved with through your physician or physical therapist. I highly encourage you to complete any other program involving resistance or weight training, bodywork or other stretching and exercise programs before following any of the recommendations found on this site or in the Self Care Programs you can purchase through this website.

Have your doctor or physical therapist review the recommendations you find on this website to be certain they coordinate well with the programs they have prescribed for you. Having all your caregivers working together regarding your recovery from repetitive strain injuries will offer you the greatest possibility of achieving your recovery goals.

Now, click on the links on the left to learn more about your repetitive strain injury. If you'd like to follow a professionally designed program of self care, then follow the links at the end of each repetitive strain injury page to ordering information for the customized self care program I have developed for your particular injury.
